I came across the Wave Project last Christmas when my Aunt and Uncle suggested that rather than giving presents for Christmas they would give cash to a charity of our choice... Cancer research was too easy an option so I did some research which led me to The Wave Project. A charity based in Truro, Cornwall doing excellent things giving kids the chance to get out and learn to surf in natures most awesome playground.
Surfing has been a huge part of my life for the past 10 years, it has enriched my life in many ways so in an attempt to give something back I have been in contact with the guys at the Wave Project to see if I can raise awareness of the great work they are doing. http://www.waveproject.co.uk/
