Forgot to mention the photo with the heavy set fella with the shotgun. This dude was essential security for the milkman. Can you imagine a place where the threat of armed raids on innocent milk deliveries is a reality, so much so that a hench guy is employed to stand gaurd ready to blow little Johnies head off should he fancy a swiping a free pint of milk?!
It wasn't just milk either, all grocery deliveries, all the massive coca cola lorries etc, etc... all had armed guards carrying either shotguns or full on automatic machine guns. Imagine being so desperate that you would take such a risk as holding up a fruit delivery to get some food or cash for your family. For all the ills in our society we are very lucky to live in such a prosperous and peaceful country.
